What the Katharians have been doing, and what comes next.
At the first meeting of the Association held at the College, the members approved the Foundational Memorandum, Constitution and Rules and appointed 25 office-bearers, conveners, internal auditors and committee members. Hewaraigam Koralage Thushan Hemantha was appointed Co-President, Baduge Chandradasa Secretary and Gamage Ramya Vinodani Treasurer, with the Principal, Sajeewa Pushpa Kumara Rosairo, as President ex officio.
Full list →Past students from 56 batches, from 1969 to 2026, filled the school grounds. The batch of 2007 took the Battle of the Batches with 51 attendees, ahead of 1996 and 2023 with 31 each.
Results & gallery →The committee is now enrolling members, opening the Association’s bank account and adopting its policies. The first election Annual General Meeting will be held by 30 April 2027; notice will be given to all members at least 21 days in advance.
