Katharians is the Old Students’ Association of Kataragama President’s Central College. We bring together everyone who once walked through the school’s gates, whatever year they left, to support the College, its pupils and its teachers, and to keep alive the friendships and the heritage that the school gave us.
The Association was formally established on 18 September 2026, the day after a reunion that brought 726 past students from 56 batches back to the school grounds. Its Constitution, adopted the same day, sets out a transparent, accountable and non-political association led by an elected committee and guided by the Principal as its President.

On 17 September 2026 the school grounds filled with 726 past students. Every arrival was registered live and the running totals were shown on the big screen all afternoon. The final standings:
Office-bearers 2026 – 2027
Appointed at the first meeting of the Association on 18 September 2026 and recognised under clause 21.2 of the Constitution, the founding committee serves until the first election Annual General Meeting, to be held by 30 April 2027.
